Hi there welcome to the forum make your new workshop as big as you can because space is always at a premium also insulation is important to keep you warm

Hi Woodland and welcome, perhaps you might be kind enough to visit the new Axminster outlet which has it's opening day soon and give us a 1st hand review?

Regards,

Rich. :)

Hi woodlandlad. I can only agree with John make it as big as you can and then a bit more. You find you will always need more space than you plan on. Welcome.

Welcome!!

Rule 1......unless there are photos, it didn't happen!!! Show us some work-in-progress photos of your workshop and we'll all be your best friends!!

Mike

hi thanks for the welcomes will post some pics soon for you of my current very small workshop and the start of my new one.just waiting for the snow to go and hopefully the garden to dry a bit.i agree about space never enough and insulation is top on list i have a good woodburner at moment and that helps but not enough.hi devon not a bodger well not in the traditional term anyway! i trained as broom/rakemaker then got into green woodworking including charcoal making spars laths etc.i now make some furniture and restore some items from eastern europe old carts etc.
