Contact Axminster customer service, I think they stock spares for their version and I think they are all pretty much the same but with different livery depending who you bought it from.

Hi Mick, I have a friend who works in a place that specialises in manufacturing transmission systems. They sell belts and other such parts as part of the business. If you can find the type of belt, size and everything I can have a word and see if they stock it. Sadly I don't even get mates rates so it would be full price. If Axi falls through send me a message and I'll get back to you.

It sounds as if you need the notoriously brittle drive cones. If so, I hope @Paul Hannaby's suggestion helps.

If it is just the belt, there are loads of online places. I got one for about 1/3 of the price for an axminster one when I had to change mine.

Otherwise , I guess it is eBay / marketplace for a dead lathe to take parts off.

Thanks all. I’ve found two suppliers at the moment one is £45 the other £67 for the same thing .I’m at the moment trying to find the Chinese manufacturers of these.
