Hello everybody !

I am a furniture maker in Hardwick Massachusetts.
For years I have been using Goddard's cabinet makers wax (in the flat tin), this is an excellent product and I have tried to replace it with what is currently available on the market here because it appears that it's no longer produced.
What I was able to find was not satisfactory to me.

Is it still available in the UK ? If it is, where ca I buy it ?
If it is indeed true that it is no longer produced, what would you recommend to replace it ?

I thank you in advance for your help,

Aurelio Bolognesi

Thank you for your replies,

What I am looking for is the wax that comes in a flat tin.
The one with the same name, in a plastic jar, is totally unacceptable, it dries white.
I used it on some teak benches and the grain was filled with the white residue, a disaster ! I had to wash the entire work and start over.
One could say that I shoul have done a test first, but ...

Thanks again,

A.B.

The Chestnut Microcrystalline should also be available in the USA and somewhat cheaper,

It was featured recently here with a stockist link:- http://www.woodturningonline.com/
