Hi there.

i’ve been a regular sawdust maker for years, various DIY projects around the home etc.

So, for Christmas, I bought a small woodturning lathe from Lidl, with the idea of turning a few bowls.

I’ve seen some threads on saw a thread on here that look useful so I’m hoping to learn.

Please say its not the Parkside pile of trash, you'll struggle to find anything that works with it, I personally wouldn't even take it out the box. You'd be better off looking for a 2nd hand decent machine.

Welcome from me too. A fellow “I bought the wrong lathe” member. Minimal outlay but still enjoying pottering. One day will upgrade when the right machine comes along!
