Hello friends, my name is Mo. I am based in central London (Westminster).
I love to build things since a child I have been incredibly curious about how things work.
I grew up in Germany, close to Switzerland where we would go to the pools and enjoy fine Swiss chocolate.
Currently I do maintenance work, as a Handyman but want to specialise and work more with wood because I love everything about it, how it feels and smells.
If anybody has an opening who needs help, or where I could watch them create things with the tools. I know how to measure and cut, how to use various power tools etc. but I know that I can't call myself a woodworker until I have been under the realm of a seasoned professional.
My hobbies are: creating things out of wood, fabric (sewing) and clay (handbuilt pottery), playing my Duduk flute (made out of Apricot wood) and Frame Drum, cycling/swimming/hiking/camping and just generally doing everything outdoors, when it comes to outdoor cooking, outdoor showering, outdoor living, bushcraft etc.
Happy to have joined this forum, I can already tell that it has so many pleasant people around. I did lurk the forums of plumbers and electricians too, didn't get the same kind response as here so I am happy to be around those who also love working with wood. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, it has been incredibly nice and sunny the past days.
Wish you all a great evening and a blessed month!
