It's a pretty old Green version. Just HC260, no letters after it.
Last year I had it cutting out fairly frequently but I think that was overheating.
So it doesn't blow or trip fuses so the external supply is ok.
The issue now is the run time which is about a minute. Press start again and it runs for another minute.
There are 2 black boxes underneath. 1 is the switch junction box. only wires and no cut-out.
The other is on the motor and I've not looked inside that yet.
The cutting shed is fairly well ventilated but unheated.
Could the recent cold weather have done something to the big capacitor which is what I'm thinking it might be.
Looking for confirmation or other possible causes.
In the meantime will install new blades and do general maintenance till I know what is the likely cause of the above.
