Offered for sale is my Harrison L5 metalworking lathe whose overhaul has been documented here on UKW.
https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/threads/harrison-l5-metalworking-lathe-1950-teardown-overhaul.134874/
It includes both 3 and 4 jaw Burnered chucks, a faceplate, fixed and travelling steadies and change gears.
It will also include a new motor as I need to keep the one pictured in the overhaul thread. The replacement can be single phase or three phase dual voltage as the buyer prefers. Single and 4 position toolposts are included but not the Dixon quickchange toolpost and holders.
The price is £1200
The lathe weighs a good 300kg+ so the buyer will need to collect from Cheshire. I can discuss delivery to addresses upto about 150 miles away but at the buyers cost for tail lift van rental, fuel, etc.
Thanks for reading and any questions, please ask.
I'll be replacing the L5 with a closely related L5A.
