Well, I have finally completed my Oak hand tool cabinet. Now I’m going to be restoring all the tools (eventually).
Here it is…

Haha, yes just about but we never have enough space do we OllieThis looks great, I hope you have left enough room for er... futrure expansion.
I did them with careful marking out, a hand saw, chisels and a router plane. I made a wooden guide at the angle i wanted for when i sawed down the line.Nice job on the sliding dovetails for the shelves, how did you make the joint?
Thank you, appreciated and…. Mmmmm, good question. Well it was about 10 months. I work full time so it was only on weekends as and when I could. In terms of man hours, I reckon about 300 man hrs is my best estimate.Very nice. How long do you think it took?
Chisels and gouges behind the rh door flap. I left a bit of room in places in the cabinet for expansion too but it took ages to figure out where to put stuff. I spent many an hour playing with big A0 sheets of paper and cut outs and then drawing round tools to get it to fitWhat's behind the RH door flap?
Nice job! Tempted to copy layout for my 'real' tools.
Edit - Watched the video, ones patet!
