Metal sole, adjustable mouth.

Not really a woodie, that's nearly in infill!

The mouth isn't adjustable BB.
Those screws hold the sole in place, there are two of them, one at the toe and the other at the heel. The mouth is very fine and it weights alot. Made by c.nurse.

I classy this as a woodie as it mostly wood :) but your entitle to your own opinion on the matter, but I bet if some said I have an infill plane and posted this you would jump out your seat and call it a woodie ;)

I have one plane. a Record No. 7 (?). It was donated to the cause and has seen better days. I merely gave the blade a quick go on the blue wheel on the grindstone, then a couple of swipes on a recently found stone (says carborundum on the little card box it lives in) and voilà! today's test shavings, oak and sapele...

Fine furniture it aint, but it certainly does the job :)
