Hand brace for hexagonal shank

Will a traditional hand brace work with this hexagonal shank from a wood owl bit or would I need a specific hand brace with a different sort of Jaw?

An older brace will only have two jaws so should be OK.

DIeter Schmidt sells fairly cheap adaptors:

I haven't used one to know if it is up to boring larger holes though.

Older brace chucks I find don't grip parallel shanks all that well, the later Stanley types work a bit better.
