After clearing out the garage of all my hardwood and rubbish for SWMBO's new car I sorted out the parts that had been pre cut for a garden swing seat. I was given these from my friend Mel a couple of years ago and never gotr around to finishing it. I had to make some seat slats for it (Hence my questions on the slats earlier) I also added a shade to the top of it as SWIMBO wanted it to be like her friends one, (Metal framed rubbish from one of the sheds) I have told her however that she has to paint it with timber treatment so I can get on with my customers jobs.

She said she wants it green after I had put the blue tarp on top, oh well.

If you're like me mailee you'll have little chance to use it your self. I've recently completed three garden seats and two have not seen the seat of my trousers yet!

Roy.

It look's good, but as already said too little time to use it maybe......

Why sit on wood when you can work with it!?! :D

I'm sure swmbo will change her mind about the green when she sees how much it will clash with the blue.

God you're an optimist - I would have expected it to go green and then a gentle request for a green canopy :)

 i would have expected it to go green , fit a green canopy , then for swimbo to say how much she liked the blue and may be it was better in blue afterall  :D

In between the rain showers and with help from me we got it coloured....in Green. I also added a little fancy bit to the canopy to keep her happy.
