Good Timber Merchants Near Woking, Surrey

Hi,

I’m new to this forum and reasonably new to the area where I live.

I’m looking for recommendations for decent timber merchants near to where I live. I’m not really interested in the big building suppliers, Wickes, B&Q, Travis Perkins etc, but more the smaller, independants. The sort of smaller places which are down side streets and have loads of offcuts and interesting softwoods and hardwoods to peruse. I’m sure you know the sorts of places I mean

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
