Glue for garden furniture

Resorcinol is the stuff, providing you don't mind purple glue lines.
Flashbanding works wonders on the bottoms of the legs.

There are a few threads here concerning its deterioration if you search. The one part Aerolite is reckoned to be much better. (The two part (306) better again).

I used Titebond 3 for this set I made last summer. I used it first about 30 years ago for some Iroko garden furniture that has stood outside unfinished and unprotected. The joints on two small tables are good, but I have had to give those on the table some attention.

For what it’s worth, I’ve used these on outdoor planters that I didn’t want to sit directly on wet paving.

The quality is variable but they’re fairly cheap. I mount them with decent Spax screws rather than the somewhat dubious ones they ship with.

Like other folks, I use Titebond 3 as well.

Everbuild D4 or PU Glue, just need to make sure its D4 so that its waterproof. Make sure you have some spare gloves if you use the PU stuff. It loves to stick to everything, including your skin!
