Glass Suppliers

Hi,
I'm looking for a glass supplier who'll be interested in suppling the odd couple of panes for cabinet doors and some toughened glass for shelves etc. Anyone willing to share their friendly supplier ?


I'm in Hampshire (UK).

Try County Glass in Winchester.

They make up DG units and will be regularly toughening glass. I've not used them but the local custom joinery firm use them.

I can't see there would be much of a problem obtaining glass anywhere. I use Salisbury Glass who will supply almost any glass that I need and if they haven't got it, can get hold of it fairly smartly. They recently did a couple of bits of 4mm glass, edges ground and polished, for bathroom cabinet shelves and I've also had a lump of 6mm toughened with the edges again ground and polished. I'll be using them again later on for the cabinet door and shelves on my current project - Rob

I use Salisbury Glass too without any issues, but there isn't too much to glass and I've never had a problem sourcing it anywhere in the country, go to yell.com and look for glass suppliers locally there are usually loads around. The thing I like about glass is that despite our ridiculous tax system glass is still pretty cheap, picture frame glass is just a few quid per piece

You don't mention which part of Hampshire, but if you are in the north and in spitting distance of Wokingham, I can recommend Glass and Glazing.
