I got an alert about fine woodworking magazine organising a (woodwork)tour of England. They were accompanied by a former editor/contributor mike pekovich. There itinery was not what i woukd have picked encompassing a few museums (the v and a) and a school.
Westonbirt, yandles, triton factory

Where would you guys/gals choose to go to?
Id definitely visit Ely cathedral and kelham island(sheffield would be good for a day)

Kelham is well worth a visit for definite @johnnyb as is Ashley Iles if they still do factory tours over in Lincolnshire.
The Gordon Russell museum down in Broadway would also be a must for me & even without the European woodworking show the knights Templar barns down at Cressing Temple are well worth a look if you like ancient woodwork.

Its nearly $6000 plus flights! Maybe a visit to mouseman although they stay down south. Mouseman would probably appeal greatly to septics having an arts and crafts churchy feel. How about weald and downland. But i know americans are furniture focused but the v and a is quite architectural
