Sorry, but I am in the camp that says he is an overpaid eejit who relies on shock and purile humour to raise a laugh. He could disappear from our screen forever right now and I wouldn't be the slightest bit disappointed. I do not find him funny at all, but then they do say that humour is entirely a personal thing.....

i'm with you there steve - russel brand likewise , and chris moyles and... oh the list goes on and on - what happened to comics that were actually funny rather than just insulting ?

Ross does nothing for me...and as for his £6million salary ...but isn't he, and others, about to get a big pay cut? - Rob

6million is after his pay cut I believe

I agree. The man's just not funny.

Hi,

Not keen on the bloke he thinks its funny to be rude but he just can't pull it off. And that Michael McIntyre just bloody annoying and on twice at the weekend I all most wish he had rolled the car on the last corner!

I'm not interested in Jonathan Ross either, just thought that was absolutely priceless! The folk at Ofcom must have agreed with him

I actually quite like Jonathan Ross and have always found him amusing, although his recent middle-aged desparation to appear 'hip' is rather pathetic.

Yes, he is grossly overpaid - but that is hardly his fault! Blame instead the idiots who agreed the contract with his agent.

There again, I also like Jeremy Clarkson. Perhaps its something to do with them both being born in 1960 - as all the best people were!

It has to be said that Ross is wearing a little better than either Clarkson or me...

wossys logic on that particular one escapes me too - i mean he suggested that teenage boys who like hannah montana are gay ... huh

surely teenage boys who arent interested in a girl who looks like this

hannah-montana.jpg

would be more likely to be ???

you also have to wonder with wossys predilicition for gay bashing if he might be in denial of a latent tendency of his own

BSM - I'm with you on that! Hannah Montana (Billy J Cyrus is her dad?) well she's a mite young for me, but there again...

Wossy has gone over the top - stopped watching him when he interviewed Eminem, made himself look stupid (Ross), Em just looked like he couldn't wait to leave...

Is he really that good to justify the air time and salary?

Do the 'majority' agree or is it apathy on the part of the rest of us - maybe a BBC web forum would encourage us to let them know how we really feel.

How do they truly work out the stated viewing figures? I don't know anyone who has ever been asked.

On a side note, if anyone wants an alternative to listen to between 9 and 11am, Monday to Saturday - The Nine show on BBC Three Counties radio (and i player) - little Scottish bloke called Ronnie Barbour - brilliant!!!

Reminiscent of the original Steve Wright show...........

Wossy needs to get over himself, wake up and realise that people don't watch "his" show to see him - they're interested in the guests!!

By way of contrast, Frankie Boyle makes a lot of "rude" jokes, gets a lot of laughs and has become very popular within a relatively short period of time (a few years?). I guess the difference there is that this has always been his style, unlike Woss...

By the way, "Wufus Wainwight" was on last night's show. I only watched it to see James May but hearing that pronunciation made me laugh! :D

I like Michael McIntyre as well and have enjoyed following his Comedy Roadshow. I'm glad we don't see Jonathan Woss on shows like Mock the Week or, God forbid, QI!

He was on it once. Wish they'd dump Jo, I ain't funny either, Brand as well.

JRs time has come and gone. He sure as hell ain't worth the money he's paid, but then that can be said for many of them.
