Hi, I'm making some long and narrow top hung flush casement windows to fit into a mollycroft on a showman's van. I'm looking at options to open and close them and hold them in position when open. Was initially thinking 2" friction/torque butt hinges, but can't find any. A possible solution is stays (eg QUADILENT STAY GREY 178MM from M.A.C. building product), but they're clunky. I'd really prefer a mechanism that's hidden when the windows are closed.
The ideal would be some kind of sprung hinges/openers and a pull-to-close push button or sliding or thumb twist latch, but I guess that's something that only exists in my head?
Any ideas?
