It's a beta programme meaning there might be a few bugs.

Thanks for the link on sharpening. I'm not a real woodturner but do need round bits every so often - a great basic reference for me.
 
Hello, I'm the author of Lathe Magic software. I just started sharing it with others last October. I've shown it to a number of members of my local woodturning club. Some take to it right away and others aren't quit sure how to proceed. I created a short 7 minute video that illustrates the key steps to generating, modifying and printing a design. Hopefully it shows that the program is pretty easy to use. You can also look at the on-line tutorials and download and read the user manual, but that can be a lot to wade through before you know if it might be of interest.
