Hi,

does anyone own this machine?.

There are some for £169 on E-Bay.

Does anyone have any opinions on how good they are, or not as the case may be, as I'm hovering on whether to buy.

Hate these dilemas, as I was thinking of getting a small combi machine.

Thanks

Hi Phil,

Not used myself but I imagine it's similar to the Axminster thicknesser and some of the other 'cheaper' ones, which have had decent reviews in the past. Capacities look good also.

If you can afford the space to own and store separate machines, I'd always advise you to go for it. One disadvantage to buying separates (unless you go second-hand or have LOADS of money!) is that you won't find a surface planer (in the same price bracket) with anything more than a 6" width capacity.

I've had a F22-560 for two years. Decent spec at that price with dual feed rate, 13" width and head lock.

I have it on a mobile stand with a small jointer. I think cheaper planer/thicknessers can be a pain to shift from one mode to another with swapping over dust hoods.
