What can i say , its old , it spins a modern block with a reduction ring (Not included) and has a fence .
Ive never got on with it but if someone else wants to try make me an offer .
Collection from Hanworth West London .
P.S the spindle is geared up to take fr**ch cutters

 But would you say that if you where just starting out ?

What about using it to mix up the christmas pudding mixture, providing you keep it nice and light.

Nah! With 5/8HP it probably hasn't got the strength...... Even my Magimix boasts 1200 watts (1.5 HP)

But then I do make an exceeding heavy Christmas cake

**** taking **** I just thought someone on here could use it .

You know jason.

Ive seen so many pictures of that s/m it feels like an old friend.

I really wouldnt trust my fingers near it, although the bruising from that big 5/8hp motor probably wouldnt be that bad...

That would make a very interesting safety assessment:

"Injury risk: Well it could give you a nasty slap!......"

Actually a small French cutter doesn't take much power and should be treated with care, nonetheless

Maybe i have the HP wrong but i wouldn't want my fingers anywhere near the block when its running . Oh well i was just trying to help

jason
someone will be able to use it . {for its intended purpose}
it looks easy enough to change the motor as its foot mounted
id bang it on ebay and see what comes of it

Don't listen to the nasty men JFC.

Your little spindle moulder isn't different, just special. :D

Matt.

I think scrap prices are quite high at the moment, if you took the spindle and the Legacy to your local scrap metal dealer you may just get a big enough load to cover your petrol costs :D

Jason

 Very good every one , very good
The spindle has a new home now so [-X

New home hey, what did you do transplant it into your mums sewing machine
