Draper chisel morticer with dual size bush (about £100 in the shops). 7 windows from new. c/w 3 chisels as originally supplied

Startrite Robland K260 Universal

Old but sound 3 motor 240V K260 with tilting arbor saw, 260mm planer thicknesser, 1 1/4 spindle and slot morticer. Universal spindle tooling if I can find it and a spare pair of planer knives and slot bits. No motor brakes but new saw motor 2 years ago.

Needs a bit of tlc but has served me well over 15 years.

Dug out the Robland this afternoon and it needs a bit more work than I realised. Nothing too serious (broken stop switch and thicknesser handle) but mechanically the machine is fine. All the bits are available in any case and a bit of cleaning up would result in a very capable machine with 3 motors and cast iron tables.

Consequently I think about £450 is realistic. Can't be bad at that price. Alternatively you can go for a high spec Hammer, as I did, with a few extras but no morticer for £6k.

The choice is yours!

That's a relief....... I only just saw the posting, and might otherwise have been tempted to drive the 400 miles down from Abdn for that machine!

Assuming your comment is serious I agree with you. Unfortunately I do not have the time to give it the tlc it needs. Basically a 3 motor cast iron machine is worth the time and effort.
