Tusses,
If I understand the rules of the Forum, because Ian is selling for his own benefit/profit hes not allowed to advertise prices, hence all the PM`s....or at least I think thats something to do with it :?

I'm sure Ive seen people selling stuff with prices before !

oh well ....

Tusses,
for a one off (private sale) and if "for Sale" is mentioned in the topic original post , them the mods and Charley do allow it....

they do not allow individuals to advertise their businesses and/or pricing within the forums, and thats the difference

All clear now? :D

The rules are not quite that simple.

Forum Rules":1q2y1qki said:
Advertising in threads & private messages is strictly prohibited unless permission is given beforehand by the forum admin (Charley).

Forum Rules":1q2y1qki said:
Once established as a member who contributes to the forum, we will allow private individuals to post that are looking to sell or buy an item. The thread must have FOR SALE in the title. As items move quickly within the forum, a member can bump such a thread back up to the top just once.

This is the first post of ianz beamz.

Thanks for that clear up, Neil...

I knew there was a little more too it than I`d stated, but couldnt quite word it properly :D , late night forum browsing

I think Tusses did get the general jist, and as he said " he neeeds to read the rules"...
members really need to read the forum rules when joining, and a little browse ever now and again doesnt hurt none too 8)

it seems I had read the rules - as the quoted extracts were familiar to me :)

I had just forgotten !

I would have checked before trying to peddle anything tho
