LIE-NIELSEN #164 low angle plane, used. Sharpened 5 or 6 times. Cherry handles with a few minor chips. £120 *** SOLD ***

RECORD #018 block plane. Mint in original box. Post war. Photo 2 £75

RECORD #010-1/2 carraige rebate plane. Very little used in original box. Post-war w/stained beech handles, square-top blade. Photo 2 £55 *** SOLD ***

RECORD #071 router plane This is the less common closed throat variety. Used maybe once. Beech knobs, complete with 3 cutters, fence and screws. In original box. £30 *** SOLD ***

RECORD #071-1/2 router plane (sister design to the above but with the more common "humpy" front). Used maybe once. Beech knobs, complete with 3 cutters, nose, fence and screws. In original box. £25 *** SOLD ***

Also, anyone want any waney-edge steamed beech? I have a couple of tonnes of mainly 1in stock with some 2in and 3in. Random sizes (obviously). Circa £10/cube, delivery possible in North of England.

Alright, but what about a nice Sargent adjustable-nose block plane, or a Sargent router plane, or a..... Not blood letting, but downsizing the workshop so all the surplus has to go - here, fleabay or auction....... And when I'm all done the wife will still say I have too many tools :?

I've just appended a photo to the original post. Its a pair of sprung, hinged beech jaws to hold scrapers or small saws in whilst they are sharpened. Has a nice Ulmia medallion on it, too :wink:

I only have a dozen planes but that Lie Nielsen is without question my favourite, a great plane amongst planes.

Mel , cheating is not something to joke about . Ok you feel good when you can look big by naming things but everyone knows that you have cheated .I can help you but first you need to want help . I know this is a big step for you as we have seen you cheat loads in Name That Machine and even dragged other forum members down with you [-X
Stop it now Mel , you will find games more fun if you don't cheat :wink:
