Flush mounting a 30mm tenoning disk
Does anyone have any experience trying to mount a 30mm tenoning disk for flush cutting scribes etc.?
My spindle moulders only has external thread and nut, so I would either have to get spindle tapped in for a flush bolt.
I thought about getting a 30mm flush sleeve type nut made up that could be done up with a angle grinder type spanner. This way the block would not be mounted direct on the threads. The sleeve would be about 25mm high so the block could still be tightened down on the spacers below. Hope this all makes sense.

Any ideas on this?

How flush does it need to be?
I think you may need to recess the top of your block to take a special made flat nut.

You need a recessed cutter block to do scribes where the material passes over the spindle. Do a search for tenoner scribing blocks if the internal bore diameter is same no reason you can use on spindle just make sure that the rotation direction, probably anti clockwise is the same
