Hi folks,

Does anyone have any knowledge of these tools? I have a few of the more traditional types of woodcarving chisels, but was looking at these as being pretty useful. They'd only really be used for carving missing detail in furniture restoration, none of your decoy ducks etc!

Thanks

I have some Flexcuts tools.

They are made from nice and thin steel which is a big plus but their marketing gimmick that claims they flex so they can be used as a straight and also a bent gouge is rubbish - they only flex under strong pressure and in the wrong place. They come pre-sharpened with a good edge.

They are not especially cheap and I would rather have an old Herring or Addis chisel which can often be found for a similar price.
