Fitting double doors
We are putting in a new front door to get more light into the central hallway, but we are also chancing the door of the door to the dining room into a double glass door, and putting it in the middle of the room
The first pic is of the door and door frame taken out.
Second pic is of the new opening and blocking up the old one, you can see the steel header we have to put in to take the weight of the wall above.
We also found some old wall paper

That looks like a lot of work, but I'm sure the outcome will be beautiful. What isn't beautiful however, is that old wallpaper! Can you post pics of the project when you're done? What are those cement blocks on the left side of the hole doing? Where those already there?
 
Had to source the doors, as these are exceptional tall ones 2040, but i got them, and yes i needed two of them

They got them delivered today.

The concrete blocks were needed as i had to half block up the old doorway, and it needed to be strong as the wall is load bearing
