Still, that worklight would be handy as a directional light source for laying flat varnish on top of glaze. Miss a single speck of that and you have to recoat the entire wall!

It's like a lot of products they are not a must for every job but for people who need good light for the job that they are doing they are worth the money in my opinion. you may be able to get cheaper but would they be as good and unless you have compared them you wouldn't know.

The first flat I bought I spent 4 days sanding the front room ceiling. I bought a round extraction fan for the bathroom that opened up like the volcano in an early James Bond film and spent hours getting the perfect single cut on an awkward ceramic tile to fit it (4 broke before I managed it finally on a nasty *** tile cutter that I had to hold at an angle to get a 90 degree cut) and all the screw heads on the decking were in line. Only one mad enough to notice it was me.
3rd house in I got better things to be doing with my time.

I have this one and it is b....y brilliant..!
It was a present last Xmas from my Mrs. I wouldn't have gone out and bought it myself, but it is really bright and useful.
It can run off its own built in battery or any of the 15/18volt Festool batteries or direct from the mains via a transformer.
I've got that set ,very handy. You can also use the magnetic holder for a laser level.

I was lucky I got it for £100 when Amazon were doing 4 for the price of 3 deals
