Famag drills brought from harrogate

Thought I'd just make a post reviewing these famag drills(forstner and Brad point) and also an adjustable countersink.
Firstly the drills seem nicely made they work well in a drill press but honestly they are to fast self feeding in a battery drill. They smash out of the back. The adjustable countersink is very clunky and tends to snag your hand on a battery drill. The cutting angles are not at all subtle tending to scrape and snag although it's very sharp and tumgsten. The best is the sawtooth forstner. This was very free cutting and left a slightly ragged hole in comparison with my old forstners. Unfortuneatly it was drilling slightly bigger than a 3/4 hole. Important for the use I had in mind (round mortices)
Altogether a bit disappointing overall and these were not cheap. The forstners are fine nay good although not perfectly sized. The drills and the countersinks were pretty ill conceived. I'd got a West German black and decker set from the car boot that were better to use for 50p!
The Japanese star m drill and countersink is basically faultless in use and I wish I Brought one instead of these!

Did you not look at those with the removable tip that could take a drill bit, now you are in charge of the feed rate and not that threaded end of the cutter.

Perhaps we need user feedback on forsteners, or do a search as it must have been discuused before.

The ones that self feed are the Brad points! The sawtooth forstners are fine and free cutting.

If you look they've got a tight helix and when you drill with a battery drill they self feed quite aggressively and burst out the back. Weird.
