Extension for 1inchx8TPI convert to 11/2 inch x6TPI

I have a Woodturning Chuck (Bought from Ruthland Tools) ,I got it for my Axminister Lathe,(1 inchx8TPI).I have since sold my Axminister Lathe,and ,now have a Gradute Short/Bed Lathe,which has a 11/2 inch x6TPI spindle,Could anyone tell me ,if it is possible to buy a type of Threaded Converter ,that will screw into my chuck,and then onto my Headstock Spindle?if so,where can I buy it ,all help appreciated,I will eventually buy a direct threaded chuck for the Gradute lathe,but,at the minute ,I just can't afford to buy a new chuck.
