Hi All,

I see that F&C has been promoting the Fury 5 table saw over the past couple of months without actually saying whether it is any good or not. I'm in the market for an entry level saw and pretty much set my mind on the TS-200 from Axminster but the Fury 5 may be more versatile for my small shed. Has anyone used the Fury 5 or can comment on it?

Cheers,

Halo

Do you want to cut wood or metal? If the answer is both then do you really want to have all those stray metal bits (no matter how well you clean up) sticking into that prize bit of timber?

Personally, I'd go with the Axminster.

Also blade replacement? What is the aftermarket like for blades for the Fury 5? Can you only buy from Evolution? Can you get a decent cross-cut blade? A decent rip blade ? The blade that comes with it looks neither here nor there for wood....bit of a jack of All Trades.
