Last week I had to re-install Windows XP on my desktop, a 3.2gig P4 with 1 gig RAM. Long story and I won't bore you with it.
Anyway, everything went well until I tried to re-install AutoCAD LT97, which simply refused to work!!
Now this software was running fine on this PC before I re-did XP, and all the other apps have re-loaded fine, but this time, for some reason, AutoCAD will not install.
When the disk goes in the drive, the same one that installed the other apps, it runs up and the contents appear in explorer, but it will not auto-run. When I double click on the install file nothing happens. I ran the disc on my laptop and it started to install fine.
So, I have the same O/S as before, the disc drive is good, the disc is good, but it won't install........................any suggestions??
Thanks,
