Hi, New to the site and loving it, very helpful, answering questions I have had for a long time.

Just wondering whether anyone knows where I can source suitable carving wood. To date I have always used soft woods like pine etc I have read about European Lime wood on this site, however i have tried to get hold of some with no luck. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful

Cheers

EJ

thanks very much for both your suggestions I will check them both out, i'll be sure to post some of my past projects and hopefully the one's to come!!

cheers

South London Hardwoods keep lime blocks for carving. They also do prepared tulipwood which can be laminated into large blocks for rocking horses etc. They will do mail order.
