they are fantastic i dont use epoxy much now as we use UV cure clear coats at my workshop but i used to finish some of my drums in epoxy in some circumstances & after years of trying every brand (CFS were an old supplier as were ECF) they provided me with amazingly clear stuff.

These "Clear Coats" resins that are not Epoxy, whilst I understand what they are used for, are they as tough as Epoxy. Do they 'hold' the wood together as other wood glues. I am interested in the fact that two or more pieces of wood that are not 'flat' could be put together with epoxy, which fills the gaps and still retains hold and stability.
