"That's not a bug. It's a feature."
"Ah. That's actually fixed in the latest version."
"Ok. That's the features that you want. Now, to fit the budget / time constraints, what do you actually need?"

little questionable about software engineers, after thirty years I only knew them to master two phrases.

Care to mention your own profession so we can all have a petty ***** about the poor examples from it that we've met and start petitions to stop them using their own job titles?
