Hello,

I got the above thicknesses and the parts driving in thicknesses infeed wheels broke. I can find the part numbers later, but most online websites seem to have only some washers and bolts in stock.

I need the sprockets driving both I feed rollers and the small gear driving the larger plastic gear.
Any advice where to find them?

There was another thread on this machine a week or 2 back so use the search function to find it by @DickR

Sorry struggling to get you a link but just search the forum and the above company.

Got this from spare parts world . So try them . I not sure there are any major parts but you never know- another option is to buy another machine of the same type and make 1 out of 2 + a few spares

Thank you. Yes, in that thread he managed to find a pdf manual, which is very useful. I do have the paper version, but will also need the PDF.
@DickR could you please share it with me to save me emailing B&D? Would be much appriciated.
It seems they sell the sprockets https://www.sparepartsworld.co.uk/product/860282-03
But I also need the smaller gear wheel, item 24 on the exploded diagram.

I may have to try to 3D print those. I can print with PEEK, which I hope would work better. Or alternativly can CNC the parts.

Thank you. It looks like a custom job for the cog wheel. The sprockets it seems I can still buy, but quite expensive at £10 each and they are still plastic, so will likely happen again - well I guess probably not if I only take 1 mm or less at a time, which I may have being a little more or it came across a knotty section plus blade not the sharpest.

Shallow passes are always kinder to machines especially older ones. . Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I've designed the sprocket part as closely matching the original as possible. As the original is plastic, do you foresee that being on purpose over aluminium? Is it just because it's a cheaper machine, or it maybe a protection feature to prevent something else breaking causing even more damage?

Just wondering what to machine the final piece from. I can either 3D print it in PEEK or PEI/Ultim1010 OR I can CNC is it from the same materials or even aluminium. Thougths?

Happy to share plans and create a few spares for people on here if it all works.

Next to make the drive gear for the rollers.
