Decided that I like the skin on my knuckles so increased the space for rotating the handle, this unfortunately is at the expense of the storage for the extra chute.
I removed the majority of the side that supported the extreme end of the cutter block guard.
To maintain and in fact increase the downward pressure of the guard on the chute I fitted a new piece of MDF this also maintains the integrity of the guard cover at the base, also reinstates storage for a couple of “tins” etc
