Edgebander - anyone heard of this make?

Hi Guys

I've taken a chance and bought an edgebander which might well turn out to be a load of **** in which case another chalk down to experience purchase :?

It's listed as a Hebrok HG2000e and is clearly a hot air gun type (the gun looks like a Steinel 2000e) though I don't know what all the boxed in gubbins is for at the back as I haven't had delivery of the machine yet.

I'm anxious to get all the info I can about it and despite extensive searching, can't find anything. I have emailed hebrok in Germany but not yet replied so you never know.

Would appreciate any comments hopefully a little more constructive than the inevitable "you've bought WHAT - you pratt"

They are sold by Scott and Sargeant so may be worth contacting them for info. http://www.machines4wood.com/mall/produ ... KV05/81406 The machine looks like this KV05 model with the hg2000e just being the part number of the heat gun.

It looks like the tape dispenser is missing. I have never used this type before but reports i have read say this type of machine is only a small step up from using an iron and a bit cumbersome to use for large panels.

Had an email from hebrok first thing this morning saying it is a KV05 but no word whether they can supply an instruction manual.
Looks as if I might have bought a pup but seller states its working so I'll be annoyed if the tape dispenser is missing.
