I wonder if they are made by the same person who did the one at the Eden Project. They are really clever and very effective

They are excellent!

Proportions, shapes, etc etc all beautifully comes together. It took me a time to work out what it was that just so defines them, that makes them just 'right' - I reckon it's the feet!
 
I think the middle bottom one's the Eden Project one, isn't it, Pete?

Still annoys me that I chopped off its feet and tail, but when I took the second my mum had moved and it didn't make half so good a picture. #-o Much easier taking pics of tools... :lol:

They look remarkably similar to the nag I last bet money on.

It's very clever work, but are the horses truly made from driftwood? It would take an awful lot of beachcombing to find enough jetsam to make even one of those sculptures.

the dumb thing is that i got sent the pictures by a mate in new zealand, and he did not know they were from the west country.

just thought any wooden art is worth promoting.
