I have been sent these pictures by Paul (Engineer One)
We think they are good so I have posted them for you all to see.
I hope you like them as much as we do.
Proportions, shapes, etc etc all beautifully comes together. It took me a time to work out what it was that just so defines them, that makes them just 'right' - I reckon it's the feet!
And I agree they are very good but somehow the feet being so 'lifelike' spoils the way the rest of the piece takes it form from just lumps of twisted driftwood.
I think the middle bottom one's the Eden Project one, isn't it, Pete?
Still annoys me that I chopped off its feet and tail, but when I took the second my mum had moved and it didn't make half so good a picture. #-o Much easier taking pics of tools... :lol:
They look remarkably similar to the nag I last bet money on.
It's very clever work, but are the horses truly made from driftwood? It would take an awful lot of beachcombing to find enough jetsam to make even one of those sculptures.
