I need to get some replacement bandsaw blades for christmas!

Yes, I have spoken to Ian this afternoon, he is emailing suggestions for my needs tomorrow, he also told me of the full satisfaction guarantee they offer.
What was interesting was the recommendation that I fit a 3/4" wide blade to my Startrite bandsaw for general purpose work, I have always run it in the past with a 1/2" blade most of the time- suppose it makes sense for straight cuts.

Workshop Heaven are great too, but for blades....... Dragon!

Thank for the kind words.

Our blades (Dragon Saws) can also be bought from Workshop Heaven - they take the orders online and then we post the blades out.
This works out great because the blades can be ordered online at any time

The phone number (and address) came from a thread on this forum that was about two years old, I guessed it might be out of date as I got a discontinued line tone but despite trying to track down a number from other sources and failing and thanks to this forum and in particular Malcolm I have been able to make contact with Dragon Saws.
Yet again the value of this forum has been proved... thanks everyone.

If Dragon ain't interested there's no point in going through a 3rd party. They're not the only firm selling decent sawblades imho.

Sorry to hear that nobody got back in touch - we have been having some staff problems but hopefully it's all sorted now.

I am surprised that you had problems contacting them. Go through Ian (above) and he will sort exactly what you need and qucikly too. I think you will find many of us on here have only good things to say about our experience with Dragon. BTW the blades are fantastic too!!!

I always deal with Ian direct through this forum via PM's, and I can't speak highly enough of the level of service, knowledge and expertise. The service and quality of product I receive from Dragon is unparalled by any other company that I've dealt with, I have some new blades ready and waiting for my new bandsaw that is being delivered tomorrow, and Ian's help in selecting the right blade for my purposes was excellent.
