I am going to put a double door onto my hut, what is a suitable wood to use for the frame?

Edit- maybe I should have said the jamb

Very soft can take up humidity expand and cause doors to stick and slacken, have the pair to loose and the locks don't work well. so redwood or select some dense soft wood thats heavy to handle.treating all edges will help also.

You could have been a bit clearer. What sort of hut is a very relevant question. If you make a joke, no point in snotting at people who carry it on.

Just a joke, of course...

language barrier-
a 'hut' in Scotland is the equivelent of a 'shed' in England,
I probably read too much into the replies,
i.e., a 'hut' is what third world humans live in-if theyre lucky (like you and I),

example: a mud 'hut', or a straw 'hut', whereas you and I live in 'modest housing'- if we're lucky,
I've not posted many subjects but one poignant post is the 'Haiti earthquake disaster'-maybe I've been over-sensitive in this instance-'snotty-nosed'?-I haven't had the 'breeding'
