This is the best design I've found and I think it would be the most effective if I can adapt the design, so I could fit a sandblasting dust collector in it.

This is the dust collector, Blast Cabinet Dust Collector | Made in USA | Cyclone made from sturdy and light polyethelene construction. Does not make a deep rumbling boom, boom, sound like a belt drive compressor, more a high pitched type of whining sound. Don't know the dB rating, have enquired but not received a reply.
I also have a Rutlands woodworking dust collector, again I would like to adapt the soundproof generator box design so I could reduce the noise the Rutland makes, which is really a racket, very loud 85 dB. Fine Filtration Dust Collector | Next Day Delivery
If anyone has any suggestions I would gratefully receive them.
