And they are the only British manufacturer of router cutters so it's also great to help support a quality British company

Sorry but wealden are very British and because they are the only manufacturer that I know of that sell direct to the consumer, this is why their prices are so good!!!

I am a fan of Freud router bits, which I find to be very good. They are typically not cheap though, but sometimes you can find them available at reduced prices which can make them good value.

I like Wealden, but they don't manufacture, and their cutters aren't made in the UK, so the Titman remark is accurate, I think.

I was always under the impression that Wealden only supply a product - they don't manufacture it :D

They might have cutters produced somewhere to their specification but I'm pretty sure that they don't do any manufacturing themselves though :D

Same as Trend - they don't actually manufacture anything just import :D

It says "design and produce", not design and make or manufacture, and they don't say that the CNC machinery is theirs!

This suggests they don't.

Still not convinced, that info was nearly 4 years ago, but i'm sure you'll prove it one way or another

No, you can believe what you like, it's no skin off my nose, I was just trying to correct the (slight) misinformation in Pete's post.
