I'm thinking of buying the TS200 table saw from Axminster, after reading some good reviews on this forum. The problem is that I've only seen a picture of it and would like to see it in the flesh, before deciding. Does anyone know if there is a stockist of this saw, or the copy of it, anywhere in the Lancashire area, where I could get a demonstration of the saw

I saw it at Ally Pally this year. I can't put my finger on it, but there was something I didn't like about it. I'd definitely recommend going to see it. It's almost irresistible on paper, but in the flesh it seems a bit of a let down. Have you considered the Sheppach TS2010

It's a bit more but that's what i'd have bought.

I think if I had the space and a budjet of £500 to £600 I would go for the sip 10". My workshop at the moment is the dining room of my house I'm renovating so I'm looking for a smallish but decent saw, which is easily movable and not to expensive but £300 is too much to buy one from a picture.

Have you considered the Triton Workcentre, I think it would be ideal for somebody like yourself renovating a house, its accurate and for yourself
very mobile.

Have a
look on Ebay u can pick up a decent model well within your price range.

Thanks Mike for the kind offer. Unfortunately I'm in Lancashire, near to Burnley, probably around 150 miles plus from you but again thanks for the offer.

Hi TSB, first of all may I say it would be nicer to address you with a christian name, anyway , I purchased the TS200 from APTC, £278.00 and free delivery, no complaints other than I had to contact them to send me a replacement riving knife as the purchased one was thicker than the saw kerf, this has since been remedied by APTC, it's fiddly to get the r/h ext table on but when it's done it's great, I will have to make some sort of take off table but that's life, if you want to see want can be done, look up the thread from Mighty ghengis, that boy is amazing, Iv'e downloaded his thread and I will follow his example, but I don't think it will be as good as his. hth.
regards,
Rich.
