Since putting in my order for the Xcaliber 806 table saw I have been looking for a set of wheels so that I can move the 400lbs+ lump of metal around the workshop if I need to.

The one unit that catches my eye is the Delta system that Philly owns
http://www.philsville.co.uk/Xcaliber.htm but unfortunately the importer where he got his does not import them anymore.

So my question is does anyone else know where I could get one of these or something like it

I am also after the Osborne EB3 Mitre gauge

http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx ... 51225&ap=1 but again I am finding it hard to find an importer. As you can see from the link, even Lee Valley have stopped selling them, and according to the Osborne website they only sell them in the USA and Canada. Has this always been the case?

Again does anyone know where I can get one.

Cheers

I know he was working on getting them over, but I'm not sure how far he got. I bought mine over in Canada! If you've got any friends over in the States or Canada - that would be a way to get hold of it.

Hi Roger, I'm not sure if you have already soughted yourself out with the EB3, but I recently contacted Osborne and they shipped me one direct. It cost around $30US for the shipping. What do you think about the 806? Am am currently inline for an 807. Is the saw all it's cracked up to be?

Thanks Philly, I'm really looking forward to getting it - just one thing. If the blade isn't parallel to the the mitre slots can this be adjusted?

Simple to adjust-the cast iron top of the saw is connected to the cabinet with four bolts. Loosen them, tap the top, tighten and test. Sorted!
The saw trunion and motor and not connected to the top but to the cabinet making mitre slot adjustment simple.
Here's an old review I did of my saw. Another year has passed and I love the thing more and more

Thanks for the information Philly - the people at Xcalibur seem to have created a fine piece of kit! With so many table saws out there it is difficult to know what to buy. Great website by the way! Where did you get your Delta mobile base unit from?

Ahh....sorry - didn't read that part  Thanks for the help anyway!!

Thanks Waka, I really can't wait now. We have a little one on the way and I have got a whole pile of projects waiting to go (baby changing table/chest/shelves). I am currently finishing off a cot at the moment so at least I'm keeping busy whilst I wait for the 807!!

Cheers
