Damaged Veritas block plane from Chronos.

Does anyone have experience of customer service at Chronos or Canadiantools.co.uk?
I recently spent the best part of £300 on a Veritas plane, including the 80 euro VAT, duty and admin charges, only to find the paint chipped.
I had to wait at home over 4 days because the courier failed to turn up 4 times, you couldn't pay the charges online, and I'm not having any luck getting any useful resolution from Chronos.

After a week of nothing, I contacted them again this morning and the issue has been resolved.

Good to hear. Better price/availability (despite hassle) from UK than in Italy?

No availability in Europe, maybe Scandinavia but prices considerably higher.
