Dado Sets for Dewalt 720 RAS

I want to fit a Dado set on my 720K RAS. My supplier tells me that only the Dewalt supplied dado sets will fit. Since these cost about £230, I am looking for an alternative. Has anyone used non Dewalt dado sets and have you any recommendations? Thanks

I'm reliably informed (by a DeWalt techie person) that the Freud 8" Safety Dado Set (see http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=060620495) will fit your DeWalt. He claimed to use one himself at home.

Yeah I'm sure I've spoken to someone before who uses a Freud dado blade in his Dewalt RAS before.

You can still get dado sets form Machine Mart for around £80, they are 8" dia and are available with either a 16mm or 30mm bore. Hope this helps
