yes was very fiddly but looked good in the end. the panels are satin wood vener. had to do 2 of them :shock:. all joints etc were mostly done by hand.

Some good looking work there, as Rob-H says nice and traditional. I too am impressed with the pediment.
I particularly like the colour that you have obtained from your combination of stain, french polish and wax. It looks right for the style of the pieces.

cheers :D they did look good when they were in the house but havent got any pics of them yet. but will be going up there again so will get some.
 
All very nice,but particularly like the oak gateleg table.
Traditional,maybe - beautiful,definitely :D

I like you work. Did you use a traditional wooden 'knuckle joint' on the gate leg table? :wink:
