Hiya,

I've used a straight length of metal for my first long cut (2440mm) of mdf, but omitted to account for it flexing slightly. As a result, I've got a bowed edge (max 3mm in centre) which I need to return to true. I corrected this flex in the metal guide by bracing it for all further cuts, so they're ok, but does anyone have any bright ideas for how to return this bowed edge to true?

The board is too wide to simply use the edge guide on my circular saw :(

Thanks

Hi and welcome. You need to find a way to mark a straight line. You can then plane down to that. Or you could use one of the other pieces you have cut as a guide and use a bearing guided edge trimmer in your router.

I'm not sure I understand the question, why can't you just mark a straight line and cut it again with your circular saw?
