hi i have a cornet the elf lathe i am looking for a drive belt has any one got ideas where i can get hold of one

I just googled coronet the elf lathe spares. There's lots more in there if you google it..

it must be me, but i can't get it to work on that sight.
i have tired googleing it but you get a lot of rubbish ,i wondered if some one may know where to get them from,
i was hoping some one might of found a supplier or bought one them selfs.

if youve still got the old one, pop along to your local bearing or engineering suppliers, they should match one up for you.

Thanks for the link Nev. I googled them this morning, but the dot UK site didn't come up. It appeared that they had stopped dealing in belts.

Another bonus Pip will be that your belt will cost a lot less.

If the Coronet is the same as the later Record DML, the pulleys are attached to the shafts with two allen keyed grub screws, one on top of the other as a 'locknut'.
