Anybody make them ?....the 'T' variety. I'm looking for a source of the twiddly bits, found a couple of UK sources just wondered if there were any more.

And if anyone has made them....there can be a lot of torque involved opening a reluctant bottle, doesn't the twiddly bit just unwind itself from the handle?

Chris.

i have done - i used to buy the twiddlies from craft suplies until i realised that it was cheaper to buy naff plastic handled ones from aldi, lidl, poundstrecther etc (circa 30p) and take them to bits

with regard to the twidlies unwinding - mine were drilled all the way through and capped and pinned on the top (the rebate for this being filled with a piece of contrasting timber)

I alsio sometimes make matching sets of corkscrew and wine stopper whicvh go nicely at craft fairs (sometimes also including matching coasters and wine glass stand for the richer customer)
